This week Pastor Diran Adeleke shared an inspiring message about “Finishing with Gratitude.” As we approach the end of the year, it’s time to reflect on our journey and embrace gratitude for all the good in our lives — recognizing God’s goodness and the people or circumstances that contribute to it. Pastor Adeleke emphasized that gratitude involves both emotion and action, as demonstrated in the story of the ten lepers in Luke 17. Only one returned to thank Jesus, showing that gratitude is about recognizing, appreciating, and taking action to honor God’s work in our lives. As we finish the year, we are encouraged to focus on what God has done and trust Him for what He will still do. Let’s move forward with a spirit of gratitude, acknowledging all the perfect gifts from above and finishing this year well with hope and thankfulness. Remember, gratitude is both a feeling and a skill that starts in the heart, and God expects us to express it actively.
