Published on March 30, 2025

In this week's sermon, Pastor Diran Adeleke dives into the story from Genesis 3:1-11, where God confronts Adam, asking, "Who told you that you are naked?" This powerful question serves as a reminder that often, the "voices" we listen to shape our perceptions and beliefs. Pastor Diran emphasizes the importance of recognizing whether these voices align with God's truths or if they're leading us away, sowing seeds of doubt or shame. He encourages us to tune out the negativity and embrace God's voice, which reassures us of our worth and potential. The sermon urges us to actively challenge the internal and external voices that limit us, reinforcing that our identity and life's direction are determined by the voices we choose to believe and follow. Remember, if it’s not God's voice, it's not your reality.

OIL AND WINE FOR THE JOURNEY

Published on April 13, 2025

Pastor Diran Adeleke shared a powerful message about life's journey, drawing from Luke 10:25-27. He reminded us that life is like being sheep among wolves, and just like the Good Samaritan, we must carry our own 'oil and wine'. The oil represents the anointing of the Holy Spirit, which helps us bounce back from failures, while the wine symbolizes joy. Life's journey has unexpected challenges, but when we're equipped with oil and wine, we can handle anything. Remember to keep your joy and anointing with you always to overcome life's thief moments. The key takeaway? Go through life with your oil and wine ready, to face life's challenges with strength and joy.

OIL AND WINE FOR THE WOUNDED

Published on April 17, 2025

Pastor Diran Adeleke emphasised the biblical concept of "oil and wine for the wounded" The concept originates from the parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25–37. In this story, a man is beaten, robbed, and left half-dead on the road. While a priest and a Levite pass by without helping, a Samaritan stops to aid the injured man. He tends to the wounds by pouring in oil and wine—symbols of healing and care—before placing the man on his animal and taking him to an inn for further recovery. In this context, oil represents soothing, anointing, and comfort, while wine symbolizes cleansing and disinfection, as its alcohol content was used to clean wounds. Together, they portray practical, compassionate ministry—meeting someone in their pain with tangible help.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF HIS DEATH AND RESSURECTION

Published on April 20, 2025

This week's message from PASTOR TEMI ADELEKE centered around the profound meaning of Easter as we dove deep into the significance of Jesus' death and resurrection. We explored the familiar story from the Book of Luke, where women discover the empty tomb and are reminded of Jesus' prophecy about His death and resurrection. Jesus' sacrifice is likened to a firstborn taking the lead, showing the way for siblings—us—to follow. Pastor Temi emphasized how Jesus' resurrection is a celebration of freedom, hope, and salvation that God lovingly packaged in Him for us. Remember, Easter isn't just a holiday but a reminder that Jesus came to restore what was lost with Adam's fall and provided a path back to God. Celebrate this new beginning and reflect on what this divine sacrifice means to each of us.
